Honoring Traditions  (Click Here to View the Principles)
Willowdale's Honoring Traditions program has eight principles which guide the program by defining what it means to truly honor the traditions of the residents that we serve. By changing the traditional nursing home perception which stems from a hospital-like institution, we create a home that is based around the individual preferences and wishes of the residents. As the title says, we "honor the traditions" of our residents as we know how important traditions are to human beings no matter what their age.


NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders)
We are proud to partner with Aurora in this national geriatric initiative to improve the care of older hospitalized adults. The NICHE program comprises nearly 300 hospitals throughout North America.  (Click Here to Learn More)
